Hello,

Where should I install tikz-qtree.sty.
I install it in Mikext/tex/latex as I do for missing sty. It doesn't work.

("C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.8\tex\generic\pgf\frontendlayer\tikz\libraries\tikz
librarytopaths.code.tex")))

! LaTeX Error: File `tikz-qtree.sty' not found.

Type X to quit or <RETURN> to proceed,
or enter new name. (Default extension: sty)

Thanks for helping me.

You shouldn't have to install it, I think. It's
supposed to be part of MikTeX (if the CTAN entry
is correct). I don't use Windows, so I don't
have any more advice for you on that. When you
did install it with the MikTeX package manager,
did you refresh the files database (mktexlsr or
its equivalent)?

Sorry I can't be of more help on this part.

Alan is right, tikz-qtree should certainly be listed in the MikTeX 2.8
Package Manager. Run the PM (if you haven't moved things around in the
Start menu it'll be in Start>Programs>MikTeX 2.8>Maintenance>Package
Manager) and make sure there's a date in the "Installed on" field for
tikz-qtree. If there is, it should work, so something else is going
on. If there isn't, right-click on it and install it.

Once it's installed, close the PM and open MikTeX Options (same Start
menu folder as the PM, labelled "Settings") and click on "Refresh
FNDB". When that's done, click on "Update formats".

That should do it. Good luck.

Best,
Antonio
